This is the first time that Bolland has skated on a regular line at practice, a really good sign that he could be back in the lineup on Saturday. Bolland has been sidelined since November 2nd after severing his achilles tendon. Expect a full injury update after practice.

The road-trip starts on Monday in Anaheim and wraps up on the following Tuesday (Mar 18), monitor Bolland's status throughout the trip.

Bolland will alert the Maple Leafs when he is ready to play, but he does not anticipate that will be tomorrow vs. Montreal. Bolland is definitely nearing a return, but we likely won't see him until Monday at the earliest. Monitor his status following Saturday's morning skate.
Carlyle went on to say it is "not a positive step" but Bolland will still make the trip to Long Island as the Leafs prepare to take on the Islanders on Thursday. Bolland seems extremely unlikely to play on Thursday.
Bolland had been making great strides in his return from a severed achilles, but leaving the ice early yesterday and returning as an extra today suggests that he may have suffered a setback. He had been skating on a regular line and there was talk that he could return on Thursday, but now that looks nearly impossible. A setback is not confirmed, we will update when the Maple Leafs release an official update on Bolland's status.
Bolland remains without a timetable, but he continues to skate regularly as he progresses towards a return.

Bolland has missed the last 35 games and will likely miss several more. The Leafs centre still doesn’t know when he’ll return to practice, let alone game action. “Who knows?” Bolland said Saturday after skating solo for the fourth time this week. Toronto is 14-15-5 since Bolland went out, but coach Randy Carlyle affirmed that the 27-year-old won’t be back until he’s 100 per cent. Bolland, who had six goals and four assists in his first 15 games with the Leafs, wants to go. But he understands the need for caution. “You want to be out there,” he said. “You think some days you can push it and you push it too much and you set yourself behind. You’re just hurting yourself. I think for myself it’s being patient and being ready when I’m ready.”

My buddy asked me yesterday for an update on Bolland, there you have it. Nothing that we did not already know, still no timetable for Bolland's return. The Maple Leafs will be without Bolland, Joffrey Lupul and Nazem Kadri tonight when they take on the Sharks at the ACC.
Bolland is out indefinitely. He will miss an extended period of time and likely won't be back before the Olympic break.
Bolland was injured in a collision with Zack Kassian in the early stages of the second period tonight. Maple Leafs head coach said that the cut on Bolland's leg is similar to Erik Karlsson's injury last season. Karlsson missed 10-weeks with a three-quarters severed achilles tendon last season - however that was considered an extremely quick and shocking recovery. Expect a full update from the Maple Leafs tomorrow, for now Bolland is out indefinitely.

Bolland was injured in a collision with Canucks forward Zack Kassian two minutes into the second period. He could not put any weight on his leg as he left the ice. It was a scary looking incident a-la Matt Cooke on Erik Karlsson last season. This would be a huge blow to the Maple Leafs lineup if he misses and extended period of time. Bolland had six goals and four assists in 14 games.
Bolland was skating on a line with Mason Raymond and Troy Bodie.
Bolland has been day-to-day with a groin issue, but it sounds like he will be ready for the Maple Leafs season opener next Tuesday.
Bolland is a rock-solid third line center in Toronto. He won't put up an overwhelming amount of points, but could be useable in deep leagues. A 20 goals and 20 assists is probably where you will find Bolland at year's end.
Bolland missed the last three games of the regular season and the entire first round because of a lower-body injury. Bolland has 37 points in 49 career playoff appearances, he should certainly help the Blackhawks up front.
