Shore (undisclosed) is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Canucks.

Shore tweaked something in practice on Monday and his status for the Oilers' season opener is unclear. In Tuesday's skate, Ryan McLeod centred the fourth line in Shore's place, so look for that configuration if Shore can't play.

The Oilers have signed Devin Shore to a one-year, two-way contract worth $700K and placed him on waivers.

Shore has bounced around the NHL in recent years, going from Dallas to Anaheim to Columbus since 2019 and now lands in Edmonton. The 26-year-old centre had five goals and seven assists (12 points) in 45 games in 2020 and appears destined to start the 2021 season on the Oilers taxi squad.

The Blue Jackets have acquired Devin Shore from the Ducks for Sonny Milano.

Shore registered nine goals and 13 assists in 73 games with the Ducks after being acquired from the Stars last season. The 25-year-old was originally drafted by Dallas in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He is set to become a restricted free-agent on July 1st.

The Ducks have acquired Devin Shore from the Stars for Andrew Cogliano.

Shore is a former second-round pick who looked like he had some offensive side after picking up 26 points (15G / 11A) in 25 AHL games in 2016. However, he has a career-high of 33 points and has registered just 17 points (5G / 12A) in 42 games this year. He could play on a line with Ryan Kesler after Cogliano was sent the other way.

Shore (lower-body) will return to the Stars lineup on Friday.

Shore has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury that he suffered on November 12th. Shore has picked up 11 points (5G / 6A) in 18 games this season and will skate on a line with Jason Spezza and Roope Hintz on Friday.
