Pageau (lower body) was a full participant in practice and will be a game-time decision for Game 2.

Pageau exited the Islanders' final game of the season after playing only 2:36 time-on-ice due to a lower-body injury and missed game one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The 31-year-old Pageau had 33 points (11G / 22A), 189 hits, and 82 blocks in 82 games this season.

Pageau (lower body) has a good chance to return to the Islanders' lineup for Game 2.

Pageau missed game 1 due to a lower-body injury that he suffered in the Islanders' season finale vs. the Penguins. If Pageau is available for game 2, expect him to centre the third line, bumping Kyle MacLean back to the fourth line and taking Simon Holmstrom out of the lineup.

Pageau (lower-body) will be a game-time decision in Game 1 vs. the Hurricanes.

Pageau picked up a lower-body injury in the first period of the Islanders' season finale and is questionable to play in Game 1 in Carolina. If Pageau can't play, expect Kyle MacLean to move up to the third line and for Simon Holmstrom to centre the fourth line.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau has been placed on the injured reserve retroactive to Feb. 11th (upper-body).

Pageau left the Islanders' game on February 11th after 12:56 TOI with an upper-body injury and was considered day-to-day but will be placed on the injured reserve retroactively to that date. The 30-year-old veteran has 10 goals, 19 assists, 97 SOG, 10 PIMs and a -9 plus/minus through 56 games prior to the injury.

Pageau (undisclosed) will be back in the Islanders lineup on Tuesday.

Pageau was a surprise scratch on Monday but will quickly re-enter the lineup. Pageau is the only one that head coach Barry Trotz would confirm is back in the lineup but he said a few players will rest and that he will get some other fresh bodies in the lineup, so the Islanders' lineup is a mystery.

Pageau (COVID-19 protocol) will return to the Islanders lineup on Tuesday.

Pageau was added to the COVID-19 protocol list prior to Sunday's game but was activated on Monday and will play Tuesday vs. Washington. Pageau, who has nine goals and eight assists (17 points) in 28 games this season, will be back in his usual spot on the third line.
