Klein was once again on the ice for the Rangers morning skate and is nearing a return, but he is not quite ready to go tonight in Game 4. Monitor his status prior to Game 5 on Friday.

Klein (upper-body) is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

Klein was hit in the arm by an Alex Ovechkin shot on in Wednesday night’s win over the Capitals.Klein was sent back to New York to be re-evaluated where they discovered he would miss at least three weeks. If Klein misses four weeks, he could be back for the season finale. Matt Hunwick will be back in with Klein out.

Klein (undisclosed) is doubtful for Saturday's game.

Klein was injured while blocking a shot last night and will return to New York for evaluation. With Klein in New York it seems unlikely that he will play on Saturday in Buffalo. If he is out, Matt Hunwick will get back into the lineup.

Klein left the ice this morning with the rest of the main group, while Dylan McIlrath stayed on for extra work, which means that Klein should be back on the blue line tonight vs. the Red Wings.

Klein left Saturday's game with a foot injury and did not return.

Klein was injured when he blocked a Jacob Trouba shot on his first shift of the game. He played just one more shift before retiring to the dressing room for the night. The Rangers also lost fellow blueliner Ryan McDonagh last night, so they could be down two regulars on the back-end on Monday vs. St. Louis.

Klein (face) is listed as day-to-day.

Klein was hit in the face by a puck on Sunday night and had to receive stitches following the 4-0 victory. The Rangers take on the Devils on Tuesday, so monitor Klein's status during tomorrow's morning skate.

Klein will make his Rangers debut tonight alongside John Moore.

Klein was acquired by the Rangers when they traded Michael Del Zotto on Wednesday. Klein has just three points (1G / 2A) with a minus-11 rating in 47 games with the Predators. He has a career-high of 21 points in 2011-12 and is known more for his defence than his offence. Moving to New York will not improve or decrease his already very minimal fantasy value.

The Predators have traded Kevin Klein to the Rangers in exchange for Michael Del Zotto.

Klein is a 6-foot-1, 199 lbs. defenseman who is a right handed shot. The Rangers were in need of a right handed defenseman, while the Predators have Shea Weber and Seth Jones who are much better players than Klein. Klein carries a $2.9 million US cap hit and is signed until the 2017-18 season. He has one goal, two assists and 75 hits to go along with his minus-11 rating in 47 games this season.

Klein (lower-body) will be back in the lineup tonight.

Klein has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, but will slot back in tonight with Joe Piskula coming out and heading back to the AHL. Klein averages 20:17 TOI per game and is an important part of the Preds blueline. In 26 games this season he has one assist and a minus-8 rating.

Kevin Klein
Klein (undisclosed) will not be in the lineup tonight vs. Nashville.

There is no word what is ailing Klein, but he is out tonight along with Shea Weber. This is a huge hit to the Predators blueline, who lose 26-plus and 20-plus minute eaters on the back-end. Joe Piskula has been recalled and will play.

Defenseman Kevin Klein re-iterated that he’s a game-time decision with his “upper body” injury. If he does return, it will be easy for the Predators to slot him in.

Sounds like Klein will draw back in this weekend. He has four goals and 15 points in 54 games.
