The Canucks have acquired Louis Domingue from the Devils for Zane McIntyre.
Domingue had an underwhelming stint with the Devils after thriving as Tampa Bay's backup last season. He posted a 3-8-2 record in New Jersey along with an .882 SV%. The Canucks were reportedly looking to add depth in goal as Jacob Markstrom deals with an apparent injury. Domingue is set to become an unrestricted free-agent on July 1st.
Domingue cleared waivers and has been re-assigned to Binghamton (AHL).

Domingue will start in St. Louis on Tuesday.

Domingue allowed five goals on 33 shots against the Panthers on Tuesday. He'll get the call tonight after Mackenzie Blackwood played last night against Detroit. Domingue is 0-2-2 in his last five appearances, posting a dismal .858 SV%. He draws another brutal matchup tonight against the Hurricanes.

He'll look to get back in the win column vs. a Panthers team that is on a four-game losing streak of their own, scoring just 1.25 goals per game.

Domingue has played well at the Prudential Center this season, going 2-1-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .925 SV% in four home starts. Tonight he faces his hometown team, who he is 3-1-0 with a 2.86 GAA and .885 SV% against in his career.
Domingue was the first goalie off of the ice at the Devils morning skate.

Since joining the Devils, Domingue has gone 3-5-0 with a 3.66 GAA and .883 SV% in 11 games (nine starts). Tonight he faces a Stars team that has gone 6-4-0 while scoring just 2.40 goals per game in their last 10.
Domingue (lower-body) practiced on Friday; may be available for Saturday.
Domingue was forced to leave Thursday's game in Washington with a lower-body issue but was on the ice for yesterday's practice so he could start or backup tonight in Columbus. He has yet to be cleared as of now, so Cory Schneider remains with the team as well.

The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Domingue, who will make his fourth straight start on Thursday. Domingue stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Devils win over the Lightning on Sunday. Domingue has been fantastic as of late, stopping 70 of 73 shots (.959 SV%) in his last three outings. He impressively won back-to-back games over the weekend vs. the Capitals and Lightning and draws another tough matchup with the Maple Leafs in town.
Domingue will start for the second straight night.

Domingue has gone 4-1-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV% in six AHL games this season. He hasn't had nearly as much success in the NHL, going 1-4-0 with a 4.15 GAA and .862 SV% but returns to serve as Mackenzie Blackwood's backup moving forward.

Domingue has been activated from IR and assigned to Binghamton (AHL).
Domingue has been out since December 13th with a lower-body injury, so he'll go get some games down in the AHL before likely returning to the NHL. He has gone 2-1-1 with a 2.25 GAA and .918 SV% in four games with Binghamton this season.
