Murray left Saturday's game in Ottawa and is expected to miss a couple of weeks with a lower-body injury. Luckily for the Blue Jackets, Zach Werenski was activated from IR on Tuesday and will help replace Murray on the back-end.

Murray’s move to IR is retroactive to September 18th. Murray will miss the start of the regular season, leaving a spot open for defensemen Dean Kukan and Scott Harrington to slot in.
