Mason is the Flyers starter.

Mason allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Flyers season opener. Ray Emery did not fair much better last evening so Mason will go tonight. He will face the 0-1 Carolina Hurriances

Tim Panaccio

Vancouver Canucks at Calgary Flames

Eddie Lack
Lack, Eddie
Confirmed
Oct. 6, 2013, 1:57 p.m.

The Canucks will turn to Eddie Lack in goal. Lack, the 25-year-old netminder from Sweden, will make his NHL debut.

Lack was 7-4-1 with a 3.00 GAA and .899 SV% for the Chicago Wolves (AHL) last season. He is unlikely to see a lot of starts behind Roberto Luongo. He could make a solid spot start vs. the Flames for people who have nothing to lose in the goalie categories.
