Swayman will start Game 3 in Toronto on Wednesday.

After losing game two with Linus Ullmark between the pipes, the Bruins will rotate back to Swayman, their Game 1 starter, in Game 3 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Swayman was stellar in a 5-1 victory in game one, saving 35 of 36 shots (.972 SV%) in the contest. The Bruins enter action on Wednesday as slight -103 road underdogs.

Lauko will be a healthy scratch for Game 3 on Wednesday vs. Toronto.

James van Riemsdyk will make his series debut for the Bruins in game three, making Lauko the odd man out of the lineup. Lauko played the first two games of the series, averaging 10:43 time-on-ice while registering five shots and 11 hits.

Lohrei did not play either of the first two games of the playoffs for the Bruins but will enter the lineup after being recalled from the Providence Bruins (AHL). The 23-year-old Lohrei played 41 games for Boston this year, his first NHL season, tallying 13 points (4G / 9A).

Forbort (undisclosed) will travel to Toronto but likely won't play in Game 3.

Forbort has not played an NHL game since March 2nd but appears to be nearing a return despite likely being ruled out for game three. The 32-year-old Forbort was limited to only 35 games with Boston this season, registering four points (0G / 4A), 66 hits, and 65 blocks.

Peeke (upper-body) is week-to-week and will not travel to Toronto for Game 3.

Peeke was limited to only 10:20 time-on-ice in the Bruins 3-2 game two loss to the Toronto Maples on Monday due to an upper-body injury. In 38 games this season, Peeke recorded 10 points (1G / 9A), 92 hits, and 78 blocks.

The Bruins have recalled Mason Lohrei from Providence (AHL).

Lohrei did not play either of the first two games of the playoffs for the Bruins but could get a chance to draw into the lineup after being recalled from the Providence Bruins (AHL). The 23-year-old Lohrei played 41 games for Boston this year, his first NHL season, tallying 13 points (4G / 9A).

Ullmark will start Game 2 on Monday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Despite a sparkling 35-save performance from Jeremy Swayman in Game 1, the Bruins will stay committed to their usual rotation in net as Ullmark gets the nod between the pipes in Game 2. Ullmark's last start came last Tuesday against the Senators, where he allowed two goals on just 19 shots in a 3-1 defeat. The reigning Vezina Trophy winner finished his 2023-24 campaign with a 22-10-7 record and a .915 SV% across 40 appearances. He and the Bruins enter action tonight as -140 favourites in Game 2.

Swayman had a terrific regular season, going 25-10-8 with a 2.53 GAA, .916 SV% and three shutouts in 44 appearances (43 starts). Swayman will start Game 1 vs. Toronto but doesn't have a lot of NHL playoff experience. He's 3-4 with a 2.79 GAA and .901 SV% in eight appearances (six starts) since 2021. Swayman was undefeated vs. Toronto this season, going 3-0-0 with a sparkling 1.30 GAA and .959 SV%.

With the Bruins set to begin their first-round playoff matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, they have recalled Lohrei from Providence. The 23-year-old Lohrei played 41 games for Boston this year, his first NHL season, tallying 13 points (4G / 9A).

With the Bruins set to begin their first-round playoff matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, they have recalled Beecher from Providence (AHL). The 23-year-old Beecher played 52 games with Boston this season, his first NHL campaign, scoring 10 points (7G / 3A).

Megna has been loaned back to Providence (AHL) on Wednesday.

Megna made his Bruins debut in game 82 for the Bruin, playing 11:45 time-on-ice while replacing Pat Maroon in Boston's lineup vs. Ottawa. Previously, the 34-year-old last appeared in the NHL in 2022-23, where he had two goals and eight points in 55 games between Anaheim and Colorado.

Ullmark will start against the Senators on Tuesday.

The Bruins will turn to Ullmark on Tuesday when they host the Senators in their final game of the regular season. The game picked up some added importance after Boston's 2-0 loss to the Capitals on Monday, with the Bruins now needing to win tonight to guarantee a finish atop the Atlantic Division. Any dropped points would open the door for the Panthers to secure the division title should they be able to win their game tonight against the Maple Leafs. Ullmark enters tonight's action a 25-10-8 record and a .916 SV%. The bookmakers like his chances of securing a victory and the Atlantic Division crown tonight, as the Bruins enter action as -225 favourites over the Sens.

Carlo (maintenance) is out on Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Carlo will miss the final game of the season for Boston due to maintenance but is expected back for Game 1 of the playoffs. The 27-year-old's season comes to an end with his lowest point totals since 2020-21, with his four goals, 14 points, 79 SOG, 42 PIMs and +23 plus/minus through 76 games played.

Maroon will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Maroon appeared in two games for Boston since being acquired at the Trade Deadline due to a back injury but will be a healthy scratch for the final game of the season Tuesday vs. Ottawa. The 35-year-old veteran bruiser will close out his 2023-24 regular season with four goals, 16 points, 56 SOG and 60 PIMs in 51 games played with both Minnesota and Boston.
