Babcock: Howard needs to Produce 25 Wins

APTOPIX Red Wings Wild HockeyDetroit Red Wings coach Mike Babcock told the Detroit News on the weekend that he expects his backup goaltender to produce 25 wins for the Wings this season. Currently, the consensus is on Jimmy Howard to take the Wings’ backup role and it looks as if Babcock is willing to split much of the load between Osgood and Howard. This is good news for those in the deepest fantasy leagues looking for a 3rd or 4th goalie option. Howard may not have the best stats up front but will certainly receive scoring support and put up plenty of wins.
