Bolts’ Vinny Lecavalier to miss 3-4 weeks with broken hand

As if the Tampa Bay Lightning didn’t have enough injury problems with wingers Steve Downie and Simon Gagne, the team received some more bad news, as their captain Vinny Lecavalier will miss the next three to four weeks with a broken right hand.

Lecavalier injured the hand during the first period against the Washington Capitals.  Vinny would return to the ice after missing some time in the dressing room, but would ultimately miss the rest of the game after he couldn’t grip his stick any longer.

The Bolts will most surely recall a few players from the AHL given all their recent injuries.  Stay tuned for updated lines as they’re announced.
