The Washington Post reports Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau has named Jose Theodore the team’s starting goalie for the upcoming season. The news comes as a surprise after Theodore lost the starting job in the playoffs last season to 20-year old Semyon Varlamov. The former Hart Trophy winner, Theodore had a 2.87 GAA and a .900 sv% in 57 games played for the Capitals last season.
