Habs celebrate the 20,000th milestone goal.

Mike Cammalleri helped the Canadiens reach a milestone last night by scoring the 20,000th goal in Canadien’s franchise history against the Ottawa Senators.  The shot by Cammalleri made it’s way through two Sens before beating Leclaire. The Sens walked away with a 4-2 win, mainly on the outstanding play of Leclaire. Cammalleri’s stick and puck from the monumental moment, will go into the Hockey Hall of Fame!

Cammalleri has been a joy to fantasy owners on the year, notching 19 goals and 16 assists for 35 points on the year and a +12.  While he might not reach the lofty 82-point total he reached last season, he’s still a must-start in all formats.

In other Habs news:

Brian Gionta returned to the Canadiens’ lineup after missing 21 games and looked comfortable playing on the right wing of Gomez and Pouliot, notching an assist in his first game back.  He’s only 58% owned so keep an eye on him in your leagues.

The coaching staff is still not commenting on the status of Mara and Hamrlik on defense.
