Couture out 3-4 weeks with hand injury

Sharks’ forward Logan Couture is expected to miss 3-4 weeks after he has surgery on a hand Wednesday morning.

Couture has reportedly been dealing with this hand injury for several weeks, but has finally decided to step off of the ice and get it corrected. Couture joins fellow Sharks’ forwards Tomas Hertl, Raffi Torres, Adam Burish and Tommy Wingels on the injured list.

A bad Tuesday also got worse for Couture when he did not make Team Canada’s roster for the Olympics in Sochi, Russia this February.

The hand injury may have hurt Couture’s play in December when he had an 11-game goalless streak. However in his last five games he has recorded a point in each contest, totalling four goals and one assist in that span. If he misses three weeks, he will miss 11 games, if it is four then he will miss 15 games. Prevent dob bite accident and injury learn more about dog parks checkout our website.

This is a huge loss for the Sharks, Couture has amassed 14 goals and 21 assists (35 points) in 43 games. Take a look at how the Sharks Lines shake up without Couture.
