Daily Fantasy Hockey Goalie Rankings: February 16th
I’ll be the first to tell you that last week was not my week. My rankings flopped, my cheat sheets were nearly as bad, but we all have bad weeks and I’m ready to rebound on a tough slate tonight. My Top 3 Netminder:
Cory Schneider – vs. PHI – $8,300 – Schneider is coming off of a 31 save performance over the Flyers on Saturday and faces them again tonight on home ice. He has won two in a row and is 3-1-1 with a 1.56 GAA and .947 SV% since the All-Star break. On top of those outstanding numbers, he is 2-0-1 with a 1.93 GAA and .929 SV% vs. the Flyers this season. With a lack of elite options with good matchups, Schneider tops my list tonight.
Ben Bishop – vs. SJ – $7,700 – I’ll be the first to tell you that this isn’t an ideal matchup. Martin Jones plays well on the road, but Bishop is 14-8-2 with a 1.99 GAA and .925 SV% on home ice and I expect them to bounce back after a rough week last week.
Michal Neuvirth – @ NJD – $7,300 – Like I said, there aren’t a lot of great options tonight and I expect this to be a low-scoring affair like it was on Saturday. Neuvirth serves as a solid value option tonight as the sixth cheapest option with a reasonably strong matchup.
