UPDATE: Daily Fantasy Hockey Goalie Rankings: January 8th

UPDATE: Daily Fantasy Hockey Goalie Rankings: January 8th
Luongo-Roberto

There are 10 games across the NHL tonight. Some of the match ups to keep an eye on are: Roberto Luongo returns to Vancouver for the first time since being traded. The Sharks look for revenge in St. Louis and Tyler Seguin leads the Stars into Nasvhille to take on the Predators.

The Daily Goalie Rankings now includes DraftKings salaries as well as my top ‘Good Value’ and ‘Bad Value‘ one-day Fantasy Hockey goalie starts.

Rankings will be based off of matchups, recent performance, injuries etc. and follow standard fantasy stats: Wins, GAA, SV%, SO.

This is a useful tool to help you decide which goalies to play on a given night. If you have three goalies and they are ranked below at 3, 5 and 9 then you play the ones ranked #3 and #5. However, remember to be careful starting goalies who are Likely over ones who are Confirmed. While Likely starter’s usually start, it is not confirmed for a reason!

Boston Bruins – Tuukka Rask / Niklas Svedberg: The Bruins did not have a morning skate because of the back-to-back. Rask started last night and made 37 saves in a 3-2 OT win; he also started both games of a back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday, which leads me to believe Svedberg will start, but we will have to wait until 6:30 PM ET to see who leads them out for warmups.
