The Bruins are second in the NHL in all situations xGA/60 (2.61), so they should do their part to keep this low-scoring. The Penguins haven’t been as good defensively but rank 15th in xGA/60 (3.07). Pittsburgh did some line shuffling on Sunday that should help them defensively, moving Jeff Carter to the wing with Teddy Blueger at centre. That should drastically improve the third line’s defensive metrics, as Carter and Co. have been getting caved in at 5v5 this season.
