Flames at Canadiens | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -105 Odds

The Canadiens will be looking to win two games in a row for the first time since December 19, when they also played the Flames and upset them 4-3 in overtime as +115 road underdogs. Montreal has gone 2-8-1 in its last 11 games since then but ended an eight-game skid with a 2-1 OT win at the Ottawa Senators on Saturday as a -145 road favorite. The UNDER is on a 6-1 run for the Canadiens. Despite losing that last meeting, Calgary has recently put together a five-game winning streak to move into a tie for first place atop the Pacific Division.

Islanders at Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -121 Favorites

A pair of Metropolitan Division rivals will clash at Madison Square Garden when the Rangers host the Islanders. These teams have not met yet this season, but they will face each other three times in the next nine days before the All-Star break. The Rangers have won two of the previous three meetings in this series following an eight-game winning streak by the Islanders, who also won 12 of 13 prior to November 21, 2018. The Rangers have also won their last four home games overall, with each of them decided by two goals or more.

Bruins at Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -127 Favorites

The Atlantic Division-leading Bruins are suddenly hot again, winning their last three games going into this Eastern Conference road matchup with the Flyers. Boston has alternated three wins and three losses four consecutive times now covering a 12-game span and dating back to December 17, with the UNDER also on a 6-2 run. Meanwhile, Philadelphia has dropped five of its last six games, although four of those losses took place on the road. The UNDER is 3-1-1 in the past five at home for the Flyers.

Hurricanes at Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -138 Favorites

The Hurricanes bring a three-game winning streak into the opener of a two-game road trip against the Capitals. Carolina is coming off a 2-0 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday as a -210 home favorite behind 41 saves from James Reimer, who turned in the team’s second consecutive shutout after Petr Mrazek helped blank the Arizona Coyotes with 32 saves in a 3-0 victory on Friday as -175 chalk. Washington has headed in the opposite direction with two straight losses, and the team has also dropped two of the first three meetings this year in the rematch of last year’s first-round playoff series won by the visitors.

Ducks at Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -206 Favorites

The Blues are rolling again back at home and will be going for their ninth consecutive victory at the Enterprise Center when they host the Ducks. The defending Stanley Cup champions had lost three straight during a three-game road trip prior to returning home, where they have proceeded to win three in a row in the first three games of a five-game homestand. The OVER is on a 4-1 run for St. Louis. Anaheim is riding a three-game losing streak and has also dropped six of seven en route to posting the lowest point total in the Western Conference.
