Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -165 Favorites
The Islanders have been tagged with a loss in each of their last six games against the Hurricanes over the past two seasons, including a 5-2 defeat as +155 road underdogs in the first meeting of the season between the teams back on October 11. That was the third straight OVER result in meetings between the teams, with the OVER 4-2 in their last six matchups.

Opening NHL Odds: Rangers -139 Favorites
The Rangers edged the Blue Jackets 3-2 as +120 road underdogs in the first meeting of the season between the teams on December 5, but Columbus still holds a strong 7-3 edge in the last 10 games between the teams dating back to February 2017. The UNDER paid off on the totals in that December matchup, with the OVER/UNDER on a 6-4 run in the teams’ meetings.

Opening NHL Odds: Blackhawks -115 Favorites
The Jets had their six-game winning streak against the Blackhawks come to an end in their last meeting on December 19, with Chicago picking up a 4-1 victory as +140 road underdogs on the NHL betting lines in that UNDER result. The Jets overall are 7-3 in their last 10 games against the Blackhawks dating back to January 2018, with the OVER/UNDER going 6-4.
