Coyotes at Canadiens | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -125 Favorites

The Coyotes will try to get back on track Monday when they visit the Canadiens in the second game of a four-game road trip. Arizona fell 4-2 to the Boston Bruins on Saturday as a +200 road underdog in the opener of the trip, the team’s second straight loss and 10th in 12 games. Montreal has headed in the opposite direction, bringing a three-game winning streak into this matchup while also taking nine of 12, with the UNDER cashing in its last two and 13 of 18.

Panthers at Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flyers -130 Favorites

The Panthers hope to end a three-game losing streak when they visit the Flyers. Florida’s skid has dropped the team out of the playoff picture for the moment after sitting in third place of the Metropolitan Division just last week after winning seven of eight. Philadelphia has won three of its last four games but also finds itself on the outside looking in going into this key divisional matchup. The Flyers have lost three straight to the Panthers along with five of six, and the UNDER has cashed in four of six too.

Islanders at Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -175 Favorites

The Capitals will attempt to beat the Islanders for the fourth time in five meetings in this Metro matchup. Washington has also won six of the past eight meetings, with the OVER cashing in the last two following a 4-0 UNDER run. New York has dropped into the top Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference after dropping seven of 11, including three of its last four away from home. The OVER is on a 3-1 run for the Islanders overall and has gone 6-0-2 for the Capitals.

Lightning at Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -115 Favorites

Two of the hottest teams in the league will square off in Columbus when the Blue Jackets host the Lightning in a rematch of last year’s first-round playoff series. Tampa Bay is riding a six-game winning streak and has also gone a remarkable 18-2-1 in its last 21 games dating back to December 23. Columbus has won three of its last four games and had gone 9-0-1 in its previous 10 before falling 2-1 to the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday as a +125 home underdog. The UNDER is on a 3-0 run for the Blue Jackets, also cashing in 10 of their last 12.

Predators at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -105 Odds

The Predators will look to wrap up an impressive road trip when they visit the Canucks. Nashville has won two of the first three games of the four-game trip and led the third 2-0 in the second period before falling 3-2 to the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday in a pick’em matchup. The Predators have still played very well defensively lately, with the UNDER on a 4-0 run. Vancouver remains atop the Pacific Division despite suffering through a four-game losing streak, with the first three setbacks taking place on the road. The Canucks have gone an impressive 17-6-3 at home this season though, which is the best mark in the Pacific.

Flames at Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -133 Favorites

The Flames and Sharks will meet for the second time in less than a week when the two Pacific Division foes battle in San Jose. Calgary lost the last matchup between the teams 3-1 last Tuesday as a -180 home favorite, right in the middle of a four-game skid at the Scotiabank Saddledome. But the Flames ended their losing streak on Saturday with a 6-2 rout of the Canucks as +115 road underdogs. The Sharks have won two games in a row after losing five of six, and they have won the past two meetings along with nine of 11 in the series.
