Coyotes at Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -200 Favorites

The Coyotes continue a four-game eastern road trip on Tuesday at Toronto versus the Maple Leafs after splitting the first two games, including a 3-2 victory against the Montreal Canadiens on Monday. Arizona upset Montreal as a +125 underdog but has lost five in a row when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. Toronto has lost three of its last four games, with the OVER on a 3-1 run as well.

Lightning at Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -110 Odds

A rematch of last Thursday’s battle between the Lightning and Penguins will take place in Pittsburgh this time around. Tampa Bay won the last meeting 4-2 as a -160 home favorite and has won two more games since then to puts its current winning streak at seven. The Lightning have also gone 19-2-1 in their last 22 games following a 2-1 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday as a -155 road favorite. The Penguins made a big move on Monday in acquiring winger Jason Zucker from the Minnesota Wild for two players and a draft pick.

Rangers at Jets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Jets -135 Favorites

The Rangers open a three-game road trip against the Jets. New York has won two of its last three games and four of six after beating the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday as a -180 home favorite, with the UNDER cashing for the second time in a row. Winnipeg will try to extend its winning streak to four games for the first time this year after failing in three previous attempts. The Jets have outscored the St. Louis Blues, Ottawa Senators and Chicago Blackhawks by a 14-6 margin during their current three-game winning streak, with the OVER going 2-0-1.

Golden Knights at Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -125 Favorites

The Golden Knights will obviously not have to deal with Nevada native Zucker when they visit the Wild after he was dealt to the Penguins. Zucker was Minnesota’s sixth-leading scorer with 29 points (14 goals and 15 assists), and he was a fan favorite who will be missed. Vegas hopes to take advantage of the situation and bounce back from a 6-5 shootout loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday as a -145 home favorite. The Golden Knights had won three of their previous four games while the Wild has won three of four and six of their last nine.

Hurricanes at Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -125 Favorites

The Stars will play their only home game in a five-game stretch when they host the Hurricanes. Dallas is coming off a 3-2 overtime victory against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday as a +155 road underdog and then begins a three-game trip on Thursday. Carolina knows a thing or two about travel too, as the team will wrap up a four-game roadie here after winning two of the first three games, capped by a 6-5 shootout win at Vegas on Saturday as a +125 underdog. The OVER is on a 5-0 run for the Hurricanes after the UNDER went 7-0.

Senators at Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -315 Favorites

The Avalanche will look to avoid a letdown against one of the worst teams in the league when they host the Senators. Colorado brings a four-game winning streak into this matchup, with each victory taking place on the road. The Avalanche have also won three in a row at home after losing two in a row there, and the UNDER is on a 3-0 run overall. Ottawa will attempt to end a five-game skid in this spot and has actually won five of the past seven meetings.

Blackhawks at Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -130 Favorites

The Blackhawks hope to end a three-game losing streak and stay in playoff contention when they visit the Oilers. Chicago started a five-game road trip through Canada with a 5-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday as a +100 underdog, with the OVER cashing for the first time in four games. Edmonton ended a two-game skid with a 3-2 overtime win over the Nashville Predators on Saturday in a pick’em matchup to move back into a tie for second place in the Pacific. The Oilers have won three straight at home versus Central opponents and four of five, although all-star center Connor McDavid (knee) is still questionable to play in this one.

Blues at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -145 Favorites

The Blues will try to turn things around on the road when they kick off a quick two-game trip against the Ducks. St. Louis has lost two straight games, four of five and seven of nine (six as a favorite) since putting together its last winning streak of four between January 7 and 13. Anaheim returns for a two-game homestand following a 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday as +100 road underdogs. The Ducks went 3-0-2 overall on their recently completed five-game road trip, improving to 11-16-4 away from home compared to 12-10-3 at the Pond.

Also on today’s schedule: Red Wings at Sabres, Panthers at Devils and Flyers at Islanders.
