The Sharks open a two-game road trip against the Jets on Friday, also beginning a stretch of six of seven games away from home. San Jose has gone 10-14-3 on the road so far this season compared to 14-14-1 at home after winning its last two at the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers by a combined score of 9-4. Winnipeg has won three of its last four games overall but saw its three-game winning streak end with a 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers on Tuesday as a -130 home favorite. The Jets have also won five of the past seven meetings.

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -133 Favorites
The Rangers bring a three-game winning streak to Columbus to battle the Blue Jackets. New York has won the last two on the road and wraps up a three-game trip here, with the UNDER on a 3-1 run. The Rangers upset the Minnesota Wild 4-3 as +115 underdogs on Thursday, and they have won five of the past seven times when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. Columbus will be looking to end a three-game losing streak in this spot after winning nine of 10, with the UNDER on a 4-1 run.

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -190 Favorites
The Penguins will try to avoid losing two games in row for the first time since November 30 when they host the Canadiens. Pittsburgh will also be playing the second game of a four-game homestand after falling 2-1 to the Tampa Bay Lightning in overtime as a -125 favorite on Tuesday, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run. Montreal has lost two straight games following a three-game winning streak, with the UNDER on a 4-0 run overall and 3-0 versus Pittsburgh.

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -250 Favorites
The Devils will also be playing back-to-back nights when they visit the Hurricanes following a 4-1 victory against the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday. New Jersey earned its third win in four games as a -170 road favorite at Detroit, outscoring its opponents 12-1 in those three wins. The Devils have split 10 games when playing on consecutive nights this season. Meanwhile, Carolina returns home from a three-game road trip that saw the team go 2-1, with the OVER on a 5-1 run. The Hurricanes have been a better home team this year with an 18-9-1 mark.
