Predators at Canadiens | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -107 Favorites

The Predators will look to stay in the Western Conference playoff race when they visit the Canadiens on Tuesday. Nashville is currently tied for the second Wild Card spot in the West with the Vancouver Canucks and Winnipeg Jets after winning each of its last two games against the Dallas Stars by a combined score of 3-0, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run. Montreal has lost two games in a row after winning two straight, with the UNDER on a 2-0 run as well.

Penguins at Devils | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -165 Favorites

The Penguins open a key three-game road trip against the Devils and will be looking to snap a two-game skid. Pittsburgh has fallen five points behind the Philadelphia Flyers for second place in the Metropolitan Division and will be playing three divisional opponents during this trip. The Penguins have won three of their last four games against Metro foes after losing five of six. New Jersey has won two games in a row and three of four despite being an underdog each time. The Devils have surprisingly won seven of the past 10 meetings with the Pens.

Bruins at Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -105 Odds

The Flyers will go for their 10th consecutive victory and can move ahead of the Washington Capitals atop the Metropolitan Division with a victory when they host the Atlantic Division-leading Bruins, who lead the NHL with 98 points. Philadelphia has also won seven in a row at home, with the UNDER cashing in the last two there. Boston saw its four-game winning streak end with a 5-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday as a -140 home favorite but has won three straight on the road and six of seven. The Bruins have lost the past four meetings too.

Lightning at Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -117 Favorites

The Lightning wrap up a three-game road trip by visiting the Maple Leafs, who will likely be their first-round opponent in the postseason. Tampa Bay is coming off a stunning 5-4 shootout loss to the Detroit Red Wings as a -300 road favorite on Sunday, with the OVER cashing for the second straight game and ninth time in 11 games. Toronto returns home from a winless trip to California, losing to the San Jose Sharks, Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks as a road favorite of -160 or more each time. The UNDER has cashed in three of its last four.

Hurricanes at Red Wings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -201 Favorites

The Red Wings will attempt to tie their longest winning streak of the season at three games when they host the Hurricanes. Detroit has beaten the Chicago Blackhawks (as a +170 underdog) and Tampa Bay Lightning (+250) in its last two games after losing six straight games and 10 of 11 to make some wonder whether or not the team would earn another win this season. Carolina has won two in a row as well following a four-game losing streak and cannot afford to lose here as the second Wild Card in the Eastern Conference right now.

Rangers at Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -152 Favorites

The Stars hope to avoid a season-high six-game losing streak when they host the Rangers. Dallas has tied a season high with five consecutive losses, scoring only one goal in its last three games combined, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run. New York begins a three-game road trip against Western Conference teams, with the OVER on a 6-1 run. The Rangers have won their last two games versus the West after losing five of their previous six and seven of nine.

Senators at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Ducks -147 Favorites

The Senators will try for their second three-game winning streak of the season when they visit the Ducks. The only other time Ottawa won three straight games was between November 19 and 22 as part of a longer stretch that saw the team also win five of six and seven of nine. The Senators have won four of their last five games too, with the OVER on a 4-1 run. Anaheim had won two in a row and four of six before falling 5-4 in overtime to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday as a +115 home underdog. The OVER is on a 3-1 run for the Ducks as well.

Islanders at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canucks -120 Favorites

The Canucks finish up a four-game homestand against the Islanders, who will be trying to snap a six-game losing streak both overall and away from home in the opener of a four-game road trip. Vancouver has lost two of the first three on the homestand, falling 2-1 to the Columbus Blue Jackets as a -150 home favorite on Sunday, with the UNDER cashing for the first time in four games. The Canucks have also dropped five of their last six to slip into the second Wild Card spot in the West. Four of New York’s losses during the skid have been decided by exactly one goal, and the team has gone 15-14-3 on the road this season compared to 20-9-6 at home after losing six straight away games dating back to February 13.
