The Blue Jackets topped the Lightning as underdogs on the NHL odds for the third straight game on Sunday night, picking up a 3-1 victory at +125 on the moneyline to run their first-round series advantage to a commanding 3-0. Matt Duchene, Oliver Bjorkstrand, and Cam Atkinson scored for Columbus in the win, with Sergei Bobrovsky making 30 saves, and Ondrej Palat providing Tampa Bay’s lone marker. Tampa Bay, the Presidents’ Trophy winner during the regular season, was a -145 favorite on Sunday in the UNDER result on the totals.

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -175 Favorites
The Islanders are also on the verge of a first-round sweep, getting past the Penguins 4-1 in Game 3 of their best-of-seven series on Sunday afternoon as +170 underdogs on the NHL odds. Jordan Eberle, Brock Nelson, Leo Komarov, and Anders Lee all scored for New York in that victory, with Pittsburgh getting its only marker from Garrett Wilson. The Penguins lost as -200 betting favorites, with Sidney Crosby held pointless for the third time in the series after putting up 100 points during the season. The UNDER is 6-2 in the Penguins’ last eight games.

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -150 Favorites
The Jets cut the Blues’ series lead to 2-1 on Sunday with a 6-3 win as +140 road underdogs on the NHL odds, in their seventh OVER result in their past 10 outings. Kyle Connor had a pair of goals for Winnipeg in the victory, with Kevin Hayes, Patrik Laine, Brandon Tanev, and Dustin Byfuglien also finding the back of the net. The Blues, who had won the first two games of the series on the road, were set as -160 betting favorites at sportsbooks for Sunday, getting their goals from David Perron, Vladimir Tarasenko, and Alexander Steen in the losing cause.
Sharks at Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -139 Favorites
After losing the opener of this first-round set the Golden Knights have won two straight to take a 2-1 series lead, including a 6-3 victory in Game 3 on Sunday night as -150 home betting favorites. Mark Stone had the hat trick in that win, with Paul Stastny collecting a pair of goals, and Max Pacioretty providing the team’s other marker on the night. Kevin Labanc, Logan Couture, and Timo Meier had the goals for the Sharks, who were +130 underdogs in the contest. The OVER has paid out on the totals in each of the first three games of this series.
