The Hurricanes blanked the Capitals 5-0 as -125 home betting favorites in Game 3 of this series on Monday night to cut Washington’s series lead to 2-1. Petr Mrazek made 18 saves for the shutout for Carolina that night, with Warren Foegele and Dougie Hamilton scoring twice each, and Brock McGinn adding the other Hurricanes marker. Game 3 marked Carolina’s first UNDER result on the totals in its last four outings. The Capitals had been set at +105 on the betting lines for Monday’s loss; they’re 7-3 over their 10 most recent outings.

Opening NHL Odds: Jets -125 Favorites

After losing the first two games of this first-round series at home the Jets have stormed back with two straight victories, capped off by their 2-1 win as +130 road underdogs in Game 4 on Tuesday night. Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor had the goals for Winnipeg on Tuesday night, with Vladimir Tarasenko providing the only tally for the Blues in the loss. The Jets also won 6-3 as +140 road underdogs in Game 3 over the weekend, with the OVER/UNDER now split at 2-2 in the set for bettors. The Blues have still managed to win four of their last six contests.

Golden Knights at Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Sharks -120 Favorites

Vegas takes a 3-1 series lead into this contest on Thursday night, after blanking the Sharks 5-0 as -175 home betting favorites in Game 4 on Tuesday night. That marked the Golden Knights’ third straight win in the series, with Max Pacioretty scoring twice and Shea Theodore, Alex Tuch, and Jonathan Marchessault picking up the other goals on the night. Vegas had been on a run of four straight OVER results until Game 4 turned in an UNDER for bettors. The Sharks were +155 underdogs for Game 4; Martin Jones got pulled after allowing two goals on seven shots in the losing cause, with Aaron Dell giving up three goals on 20 shots.
