The Capitals have now won eight of their last 12 games heading into Monday and are heavy -470 favorites on the updated series price at the sportsbooks. The Canes are +335 underdogs on the series prices to make the comeback.

Predators at Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -125 Favorites

The Stars are one win away from upsetting the Predators in this first-round playoff series, having taken a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-seven set on Saturday with a 5-3 victory as +140 road underdogs. Alexander Radulov and Jason Dickinson both scored twice in that win for Dallas, with Tyler Seguin also scoring, and Jamie Benn picking up three assists on the day. Ryan Johansen, Kyle Turris, and Rocco Grimaldi scored the goals for Nashville. Pekka Rinne gave up all five goals for the Preds, and carries an .883 playoff save percentage into Game 6.

Dallas has now won two straight games to bounce back from a 2-1 deficit in the series, having also beaten Nashville 5-1 as -125 home favorites in Game 4 last Wednesday night. The OVER paid off for totals bettors in both of those contests, with the OVER/UNDER now 2-1 with two PUSH results in the series. The Stars have an 8-4 mark in their last 12 contests.
