Maple Leafs at Bruins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -140 Favorites

The Bruins forced a Game 7 in this first-round best-of-seven series on Sunday afternoon with a 4-2 victory as +110 underdogs on the NHL betting lines. Brad Marchand had a pair of goals in the win for Boston, with Torey Krug and Jake DeBrusk also scoring in the game. Morgan Rielly and Auston Matthews had the goals for Toronto, and Frederik Anderson had 37 saves.

Sunday’s result was only the second OVER result in the series for totals bettors, with the OVER/UNDER for the contest set low at 5.5 goals. The Maple Leafs had been set as -130 home favorites in the game, and will be facing the Bruins in a first-round Game 7 for the second straight postseason. Last spring Boston ran over Toronto 7-4 in the series clincher as -170 home betting chalk after the Maple Leafs had won both Game 5 and Game 6 of the set.

Golden Knights at Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Sharks -121 Favorites

The Sharks have won two straight games in this series to also force a Game 7, capped off by a 2-1 victory in double overtime in Game 6 on Sunday night as +170 road underdogs on the NHL odds. Tomas Hertl scored shorthanded in the second extra frame on Sunday to give his team the win, with Logan Couture also scoring for the Sharks in the first period, and Martin Jones making 58 saves on the night. Jonathan Marchessault scored the only goal for Vegas.

San Jose also won 5-2 as -115 home favorites in Game 5 to come back from a 3-1 series deficit against the Golden Knights. Sunday’s overtime contest was an easy UNDER result for totals bettors, but the UNDER has now only paid off twice in the first six games of the series.
