Jason Spezza and Esa Lindell had the goals on Friday night to lead the Stars to a 2-1 win over the Blues as +130 road underdogs and a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven second-round playoff series. Ben Bishop stopped 38 of 39 St. Louis shots in the victory, while Blues counterpart Jordan Binnington made 25 saves. Jaden Schwartz scored St. Louis’ only goal.

Dallas has now won two straight games in the series to put the Blues on the brink of elimination, and six of their last eight games overall dating back to their first-round set against the Predators. The Stars and Blues split the first two games of the series in St. Louis and the second two games of the series in Dallas. Friday’s three combined goals turned the game into an UNDER result, which was the only UNDER result through the first five games of the series.

The Stars are 5-2 in their last seven games at home heading into Game 6 on Sunday, and 6-3 in their last nine games at home against the Blues. Alexander Radulov and Tyler Seguin lead Dallas in scoring in the playoffs with 10 points apiece in 11 games, with Radulov and Roope Hintz having each scored five goals. Bishop has a 7-3-1 record with a 2.13 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage while playing every minute for the Stars these playoffs.

Schwartz and Alex Pietrangelo are atop St. Louis’ scoring list with nine points each in the playoffs, with Schwartz having seven goals in 11 games. Binnington, a finalist for the Calder Trophy this season, is 6-4-1 in the playoffs with a 2.73 GAA and a .908 save percentage.
