Sunday’s 4-1 victory in Game 6 at Dallas was the first win of this postseason for St. Louis that was decided by more than one goal. And the Blues cashed as +110 underdogs this time, the fourth time in six games the road team has won in this second-round playoff series. The big question is, will that same trend continue in Game 7 on Tuesday, or will the home team break through for the third time and be the one to advance to the Western Conference final?

The status of Stars goaltender Ben Bishop should be monitored closely, but head coach Jim Montgomery said he is fine despite taking a hard shot to the shoulder late in Game 6 and exiting shortly thereafter. St. Louis winger Jaden Schwartz scored the third goal for his team with 13:23 remaining after Bishop initially went down when he was struck by a shot from Colton Parayko.

Sammy Blais added his first career postseason goal a half-minute later for the Blues before Bishop was pulled in favor of backup Anton Khudobin. Alex Pietrangelo and David Perron also scored for St. Louis while Tyler Seguin tallied the lone goal for Dallas on the power play to even things up at 1-1 in the first period.

The UNDER is 1-0-1 in the last two games of this series following a 3-0-1 run in the first four, according to the OddsShark NHL Database, as the losing team has managed to score only one goal.

The Blues lost their first two home games against the Winnipeg Jets in the first round before closing them out in Game 6, and rookie goalie Jordan Binnington went 14-2 with a 2.02 goals-against average in 16 starts at the Enterprise Center during the regular season. Binnington stopped 22 of 23 shots in Game 6, and his performance here in Game 7 could definitely be the difference. He has surrendered at least two goals in each of the team’s first six home playoff games so far.
