Canadiens at Sabres | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Sabres -132 Favorites

Two of the better young teams in the Atlantic Division will square off in Buffalo as the Canadiens and Sabres both try to avoid their first regulation loss of the season. Montreal has dropped three of the past four meetings but won the last one 7-4 as a big -240 home favorite on March 23. Prior to that three-game series skid, the Canadiens had won the previous four meetings and eight of 10 dating back to 2016. The OVER has also cashed in three of the last four games between the Canadiens and the Sabres, averaging 8.5 goals.

Devils at Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flyers -150 Favorites

The Flyers will be playing their first game of the season on North American soil after returning from the Czech Republic, where they defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in their season opener last Friday. Travis Konecny led Philadelphia with two goals to help his team cash as a -125 favorite. Meanwhile, the Devils are still looking for their first victory in their third game after getting blown out 7-2 at Buffalo in their last game on Saturday as a +100 road underdog. They have won four of the past six meetings though after losing three of the previous four.

Kings at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canucks -177 Favorites

The Kings will be playing on back-to-back nights following their first win of the season on Tuesday, as they edged the Calgary Flames 4-3 in overtime as +195 road underdogs. Los Angeles had lost its season opener 6-5 against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday with Jonathan Quick in net as a +130 road dog and opted to give backup Jack Campbell the nod at Calgary in the first game of the back-to-back situation. The Kings have won three of their last four in the second game of a back-to-back and will likely have Quick back between the pipes. The Canucks will be playing their home opener after dropping their first two games on the road versus the Oilers and Flames, with the UNDER cashing both times. Vancouver has won three of the past four meetings and two of the last three in this series on home ice.
