Colorado kicked off a six-game road trip with a 6-3 win at Washington on Monday as a +120 road underdog, the first time the team had been in that role this year after four home games.

The Stars hope to break a three-game losing streak and jumpstart their offense when they visit the Blue Jackets. Dallas has totaled only three goals during its current skid with the UNDER cashing each time. Columbus is 1-2 at home but pulled off its biggest victory of the young season on Saturday with a 3-2 win at Carolina as a +180 road underdog.

The Flyers face a tough task here in playing back-to-back games against the Flames and Oilers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Edmonton is coming off its first loss of the season at Chicago on Monday as a -105 underdog.

Two of the most surprising teams in the league early on square off in Anaheim when the Ducks host the Sabres. Buffalo begins a three-game road trip through California after a three-game winning streak during a recently completed three-game homestand. Anaheim returns home for a three-game homestand following a 4-2 loss at Boston as a +185 underdog on Monday. The Ducks saw the OVER cash for the first time after the UNDER was 5-0.

Opening NHL Odds: Sharks -125 Favorites
The Hurricanes will be playing on back-to-back nights following a visit to the Kings on Tuesday. Carolina suffered its first loss to Columbus as a -220 home favorite in a similar situation on Saturday, but the team had gone 10-1 the previous 11 times when playing the second game of a back-to-back. San Jose has won two straight games after a disappointing 0-4 start, and both wins have taken place since re-signing former captain Patrick Marleau.
