One of the league’s best teams visits one of the worst as the Red Wings host the Bruins. Detroit will be trying to stop a four-game losing streak in this tough spot as an underdog for the 18th time to start the season. The Red Wings fell 5-1 to the Rangers as +130 dogs on Wednesday.

Opening NHL Odds: Jets -130 Favorites
The Canucks have dropped two of their last three games heading into this matchup with the Jets away from home after losing 5-2 to the Blackhawks as -140 road favorites on Thursday. Vancouver will be playing the second game of a back-to-back and has won three of the last four times in this situation. Winnipeg opened a four-game homestand with a 2-1 loss to New Jersey as a -130 favorite on the NHL moneyline on Tuesday night.
Devils at Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -145 Favorites
The Devils continue a five-game road trip against the Oilers and find themselves as underdogs for the fourth straight time overall. New Jersey has won two of the first three games of this trip as dogs, and the OVER is on a 5-1 run in the team’s last six. Edmonton will be looking to end a two-game skid in the finale of a three-game homestand, and the UNDER is on a 4-1 run in the team’s last five. The OVER has cashed in the past three meetings.
