Sabres at Bruins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -196 Favorites

The Bruins have won two of their last three games since a four-game losing streak following a 5-1 win over the Devils as -145 road favorites on Tuesday. Boston’s David Pastrnak and Matt Grzelcyk scored two goals apiece at New Jersey, and Patrice Bergeron is expected back after missing the last two games due to a lower-body injury. The Sabres have lost two games in a row and eight of nine following a 4-1 defeat to the Wild in a pick’em matchup on Tuesday.

Penguins at Islanders  | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -135 Favorites

The Penguins and Islanders complete a home-and-home series on Thursday after the latter rallied for a 5-4 overtime victory on Tuesday as +110 road underdogs. New York trailed 4-2 early in the third period but scored two goals in the last five minutes of regulation time to force OT. Pittsburgh had done something similar in the previous meeting, overcoming an early 3-0 deficit to win 4-3 in OT on November 7. That remains the lone loss for the Isles in 15 games.

Flyers at Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -165 Favorites

The Hurricanes are riding a four-game winning streak into this Metropolitan Division matchup with the Flyers. Carolina doubled up Chicago 4-2 on Tuesday as a -125 favorite to close out a perfect 3-0 road trip. Philadelphia has headed in the opposite direction, losing four straight since putting together a four-game winning streak, with the OVER currently on a 2-0 run.

Canucks at Predators  | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -175 Favorites

The Predators hope to halt a season-high five-game losing streak when they host the Canucks. Nashville has now been outscored 25-11 during the skid, although the UNDER ended a 4-1 OVER run in a 2-1 loss to Winnipeg on Tuesday, with the team closing as a -175 home favorite. Vancouver is also struggling, losing three in a row and seven of eight. But the OVER has cashed in four consecutive games for the Canucks after a 3-1 UNDER run.

Flames at Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -155 Favorites

Two more teams heading in opposite directions will square off in St. Louis when the defending Stanley Cup champion Blues host the Flames. Calgary is riding a five-game losing streak, with the UNDER going 4-0-1 during that stretch. St. Louis beat Tampa Bay 3-1 as a +105 home underdog Tuesday to win for the eighth time in 11 games with the UNDER on a 5-0 run.

Lightning at Blackhawks  | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -161 Favorites

The Lightning have lost two straight games going into the finale of a two-game road trip against the Blackhawks. Tampa Bay has been favored in all but two games so far this season, going 4-5 in its last nine when closing at -120 or higher. Chicago saw a season-high four-game winning streak end with a 4-2 loss to Carolina on Tuesday as a +105 home underdog.

Maple Leafs at Coyotes  | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -133 Favorites

The Maple Leafs are desperate to stop a season-high six-game losing streak as they visit the Coyotes on Thursday night. Toronto is coming off a 4-2 loss at Vegas on Tuesday as a +140 road underdog, the team’s third straight defeat by two goals or more, and they subsequently fired head coach Mike Babcock. Arizona has won four of five following a three-game skid, with the UNDER on a 4-0 run on the betting totals.

Sharks at Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -188 Favorites

The Golden Knights have put together their first winning streak in a month and look to earn their third straight victory against the Sharks. Vegas has outscored Calgary and Toronto 10-2 in the first two games of a four-game homestand that wraps up Saturday versus Edmonton. San Jose lost the first two games of the season to its Pacific Division rival by a combined score of 9-2 and also saw its season-high six-game winning streak end Tuesday. The Sharks fell to the Oilers 5-2 as -135 home favorites, but the OVER cashed again and is on a 4-0 run.
