All NHL betting lines below are as listed at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Blues at Lightning | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -164 Favorites

The Blues will look to break a two-game skid on Wednesday when they visit the Lightning. St. Louis got swept in a home-and-home series with Nashville in its last two games and saw the UNDER cash for the seventh time in eight games as well. Tampa Bay has headed in the opposite direction, winning three games in a row and six of eight, with the OVER on a 7-3 run.

Panthers at Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -150 Favorites

The Capitals will try to avoid tying their longest losing streak of the season when they host the Panthers. Washington has lost two straight and suffered only one three-game skid this year. Florida is in the exact same situation, dropping two in a row, with its longest losing streak also being three games back in the first two weeks. The OVER is on a 7-1 run for Florida too.

Maple Leafs at Red Wings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -210 Favorites

The Maple Leafs will attempt to equal a season-high winning streak when they visit the Red Wings. Toronto has won consecutive games for the first time since November 7 and done so since firing head coach Mike Babcock, who was a mainstay in Detroit for a decade before moving on to his latest position. The Red Wings have struggled mightily since his departure and find themselves riding a six-game losing streak en route to the league’s worst record.

Bruins at Senators | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -185 Favorites

The surprising Senators have won three of their last four games and five of seven heading into this Atlantic Division matchup with the Bruins. Ottawa will be catching Boston in the second game of a back-to-back situation here, and the team’s opponent has lost three of four under that scenario. The Bruins have won four in a row though following an 8-1 rout of the Canadiens on Tuesday in the opener of a two-game road trip that ends against the Senators.

Hurricanes at Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -147 Favorites

The Rangers will go for a season-high winning streak when they host the hot Hurricanes. New York has now won two straight on four different occasions this year but has yet to break through with a third victory in a row. Carolina has put together a winning streak of three games or more three times already and will be trying to accomplish the feat for a fourth time.

Canucks at Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -149 Favorites

The Canucks continue a six-game road trip against the Penguins after splitting the first four. Vancouver has split a pair of 2-1 decisions in its last two games, edging Washington as a +160 underdog on Saturday before falling to Philadelphia by the same exact score as a +115 dog on Monday. Pittsburgh closes out a three-game homestand after winning the first two.

Golden Knights at Predators | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -131 Favorites

The Golden Knights are on a three-game skid and without starting goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, who has taken a leave of absence due to personal reasons. They have yet to win without Fleury in net and recalled Garrett Sparks on an emergency basis to back up Malcolm Subban. The Predators have gotten back on track following a season-high six-game losing streak, sweeping the defending Stanley Cup champion Blues in a home-and-home series.

Oilers at Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -136 Favorites

The Pacific Division-leading Oilers wrap up a five-game road trip versus the Avalanche. Edmonton has won three of the first four games of the trip against divisional foes to increase its lead in the Pacific to four points. Colorado has lost two in a row after winning five of six.

Also on today’s schedule: Flyers at Blue Jackets, Flames at Sabres, Ducks at Coyotes, Jets at Sharks and Islanders at Kings.
