Capitals at Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -155 Favorites

The Capitals will look to extend their winning streak to three games in the second stop of a three-game road trip versus the Blue Jackets. Washington is coming off a 5-2 rout of Tampa Bay as a +120 road underdog in the opener of the trip on Saturday. Columbus has lost two games in a row and six of seven following a four-game road trip that saw the team win once. That lone victory did come against the Capitals though, 5-2 as +190 underdogs a week ago.

Senators at Panthers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Panthers -235 Favorites

The Senators will try to win consecutive games for the first time since putting together a three-game winning streak on November 22 when they visit the Panthers. Ottawa has alternated wins and losses in its last six games following a 4-3 win at Columbus in a pick’em matchup on Saturday. Meanwhile, Florida will be looking to break a three-game losing streak in the eighth game of a nine-game homestand. The UNDER is also on a 5-0-2 run for the Panthers.

Predators at Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -136 Favorites

The Predators will kick off a four-game road trip and attempt to end a two-game skid when they visit the Rangers. Nashville is just 5-6-1 away from home so far this season, falling in its last road game 4-3 at Buffalo as a -145 favorite last Thursday. New York returns home from a four-game road trip that saw the team go 2-2 and beat two of the better Pacific Division teams in Vegas and San Jose as +170 and +145 underdogs, respectively. The Rangers outscored the Golden Knights and Sharks by a combined score of 11-3 but lost to the Kings and Ducks.

Avalanche at Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds:  Blues -114 Favorites

First place in the Central Division will be on the line when the Avalanche visit the Blues. Both teams have won their last two games, and each has been equally good at home as they have been on the road. That said, Colorado has been the hotter of the two teams, going 8-0-1 in its last nine games after earning a pair of 3-1 wins over Philadelphia and New Jersey at home. St. Louis has won two in a row following a three-game skid, and the OVER is on a 4-0 run. The Blues have won each of the past five meetings with the Avalanche, along with nine of 11 and 14 of 17 dating back to March 29, 2016.

Oilers at Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -149 Favorites

The Stars hope to win for the fifth time in six games when they host the Oilers. Dallas is coming off a 4-1 victory at Nashville on Saturday as a +130 road underdog after falling 3-2 to Vegas in overtime as a -165 home favorite the previous night. The UNDER is on a 5-0 run for the Stars. Edmonton will be trying to break a four-game losing streak in which the team has been outscored by a 19-11 margin. The Oilers have scored more than three goals only once in their last nine games while giving up more than three six times during that stretch.
