The Lightning will go for their fourth win in five games on Thursday when they host the Stars. Tampa Bay is coming off a close 4-3 overtime victory against Ottawa on Tuesday despite closing as a massive -420 home favorite, with Nikita Kucherov getting benched for most of the third period and the extra session after scoring the first goal. Dallas has dropped two of its last three, but both of those games took place at home. The UNDER is on a 6-0 run for the Stars.

The Bruins will try to rebound from a tough overtime loss when they host the Islanders in the second game of a four-game homestand. Boston fell 4-3 to the Los Angeles Kings in OT on Tuesday as a heavy -270 home favorite, losing for the sixth time in seven games overall. Meanwhile, New York saw its three-game winning streak come to an end with an embarrassing 8-3 loss to the Nashville Predators on Tuesday as -145 home favorites, with the OVER cashing for the first time in 12 games.

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -152 Favorites

The Senators return home from a winless two-game road trip to host the Predators. Ottawa lost 6-1 to the Florida Panthers as a +170 road underdog on Monday and then nearly upset Tampa Bay in a 4-3 overtime loss as a +330 dog on Tuesday, with the OVER cashing for the third straight game. Nashville is coming off an 8-3 rout of the New York Islanders on Tuesday as a +125 road underdog, the team’s second win in a row following consecutive losses.

Opening NHL Odds: Jets -175 Favorites

The Blackhawks will be playing back-to-back nights when they visit the Jets off a 4-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday. Chicago hung tough after the first period versus Colorado at 1-1 but was outscored 2-0 in the second and 1-0 in the third to fall short as a +125 home underdog, suffering the team’s fifth loss in six games. Winnipeg has lost two of three after winning three of four and six of eight, with the OVER cashing in three straight.

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -125 Favorites

The Avalanche will also be playing the second game of a back-to-back situation here when they host the Hurricanes. Colorado defeated Chicago 4-1 on Wednesday as a -145 road favorite to win for the ninth time in 11 games, and the team has also won three of the last four times when playing the second game of a back-to-back. Carolina will be closing out a five-game road trip in Denver after winning three of the first four as a road favorite each time.

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -130 Favorites

The Flames will attempt to break a two-game skid in the finale of a four-game homestand against the Canadians. Calgary had put together a season-high seven-game winning streak before losing two in a row, getting outscored 8-1 by the Carolina Hurricanes and Pittsburgh Penguins, with the UNDER cashing each time. Montreal has won four of its last five games following a 3-1 victory against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday as a -105 underdog to open a season-long seven-game road trip. The UNDER is on a 7-0-1 run for the Canadiens.

Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -143 Favorites

Taylor Hall will make his home debut for the Pacific Division-leading Coyotes versus the Wild after he assisted on the game-winning goal to beat the San Jose Sharks in his first game with his new team on Tuesday. Arizona edged San Jose 3-2 as a -115 road favorite to win for the fifth time in eight games overall. Minnesota had a similar result Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights, falling 3-2 as a +170 road underdog to lose for the fourth time in six games.

Golden Knights at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -125 Favorites

The Golden Knights will look to extend their winning streak to four games for the second time this season when they visit the Canucks. Vegas doubled up Vancouver 6-3 as a -200 home favorite on Sunday and then topped Minnesota 3-2 as identical chalk on Tuesday. The Canucks will try to halt a three-game skid, and they have also lost eight of nine to the Knights.

Also on today’s schedule: Kings at Blue Jackets and Sabres at Flyers.
