DailyFaceoff 2017-18 NHL Predictions
Oops. I guess I started my season previews too late because I only made it to Ottawa… not even close. Well let’s skip Philadelphia to Winnipeg and just get to my season predictions.
This season we could truly see a changing of the guard in the NHL with former basement dwellers like the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs trending upwards thanks to No.1 overall picks Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews. While recent Stanley Cup winners like the Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks look to be trending downward.
I won’t get too deep into anything here, but here are my picks for the regular season standings, playoffs and award winners!
