DailyFaceoff/Corsica NHL Bets (November 13th)

The Corsica NHL betting predictions had a respectable night on Friday, going an even 1-1 on its highest probability and value picks. Corsica didn’t love Anaheim’s chances of covering the spread against the Wild but thought it had the highest value of any bet on the slate. The Ducks unfortunately were outworked by Minnesota and lost by a score of 5-1. The highest probability bet, however, was a lock with the Blues easily covering a +1.5-goal spread at home against the Sharks. Chad Johnson blanked San Jose as St. Louis went on to win 4-0. This post now sits at 25-12 (67.6%) on the season.

With nine games on the slate tonight it can be tough to narrow down your options. Corsica has generated an abundance of predictions to help you select the best spots to play tonight. I’ve highlighted tonight’s highest value and probability picks below.

Highest Value

Lightning @ Sabres – Spread | TBL -1.5 (+210)

Corsica only gives Tampa Bay a 35.92% chance of covering this spread but no bet offers more value on tonight’s slate. To their credit, Buffalo’s top line has been terrific at even-strength and will got toe-to-toe with Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos tonight. Luckily for the Lightning, they have a dynamic second line that can create match-up nightmares for teams like Buffalo. Brayden Point, Yanni Gourde, and Tyler Johnson should steamroll the second and third lines of the Sabres at even-strength tonight. Even if the top lines play out to a draw, the Point line should drastically out-chance their opposition and could cover the 1.5-goal spread on their own.

Highest Probability

Coyotes @ Red Wings – Spread | DET +1.5 (-289)

Arizona is surprisingly favoured a goal and a half in a game featuring two below-average teams. The Red Wings have put up some atrocious possession numbers at 5v5, but do have an effective pairing in Frans Nielsen and Andreas Athanasiou on their second line. They should be able to maintain Arizona’s top-six tonight. Dylan Larkin has put up a point-per-game this season despite a 5v5 on-ice SH% of 6.7%. He and line-mate Anthony Mantha should see more chances than usual tonight against a mediocre even-strength team.  Detroit will dodge starter Antti Raanta tonight, with Darcy Kuemper expected to get the start instead. Jimmy Howard has played fantastic for the Red Wings of late and should have no problem keeping this game close. Corsica gives Detroit a whopping 74.56% chance of beating the spread tonight.
