DailyFaceoff DFS Cheat Sheet – December 2nd

DailyFaceoff DFS Cheat Sheet – December 2nd
DFS

There are only two games in the NHL tonight, which is strange for a Friday night. Because of the light schedule, I’m going to do this cheat sheet a little differently. Below I’ve listed my top value plays at each position.

Following the deal with SaberSim, these Cheat Sheets are going to change just a little. It will still be the players that I am targeting with SaberSim intel as well as their projection for that given night on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Below I have listed my favourite centres, wingers, defensemen and goalies for tonight’s slate of Daily Fantasy action. Each player is listed with their prices from both of the Daily Fantasy giants—DraftKings and FanDuelprices are listed as (DraftKings / FanDuel)

Centre

Erik Haula – @ CGY – DK-$4,100 / FD-$4,500
SaberSim Projection: DK-2.24 / FD-8.00

Haula centres what is considered as the Wild’s third line, but thanks to a lot of depth on the wing, he plays with two talented players in Jason Pominville and Nino Niederreiter. Haula averages around 15:00 TOI per game and he comes in playing very well. Haula has three goals and one assist in his last five games and has ripped off 11 shots in his last three games. On a small slate, Haula is a centre than can save you a ton of money.

Winger

Kevin Labanc – vs. MTL – DK-$3,300 / FD-$3,300
SaberSim Projection: DK-2.41 / FD-$8.46

Labanc was the OHL’s leading scorer in 2015-16, picking up 127 points (39G / 88A) in 65 games with the Barrie Colts. The 20-year-old has picked up two goals and two assists in his first 11 NHL games and skating on the second line with Logan Couture puts him in a good spot to use his offensive ability and continue to pick up points.

Defenseman

Jonas Brodin – vs. MTL – DK-$3,800 / FD-$3,600
SaberSim Projection: DK-1.20 / FD-4.19

Brodin may not play Ryan Suter-like minutes, but he still plays 20-plus minutes per night and is playing really good hockey of late. Brodin has registered one goal, five assists, 13 shots and 19 shots in his last seven games. He provides a stable floor for a really low price.

Goalie

Chad Johnson – vs. MIN – DK-$7,400 / FD-$8,000
SaberSim Projection: DK-4.64 / FD-18.55

Johnson is the cheapest goalie available tonight and he is arguably the hottest goalie available tonight. To be honest, all four of the starting netminders are playing great right now, but Johnson is playing the best hockey of his career and he’s on home-ice. Johnson is 7-3-0 with a 1.80 GAA, .939 SV% and a whopping three shutouts in his last 10 starts. Our friends at SaberSim give Johnson a 48.1 percent chance of allowing two or less goals tonight.
