Top Line:

Florida Panthers 1

The Panthers are a tad banged up with Evgenii Dadonov our for a couple of more weeks but they have moved Nick Bjugstad up to go with Aleksander Barkov and Jonathon Huberdeau. Bjugstad is very talented and he is super cheap across the industry which will help fit in other nice pieces in your lineup. They get a matchup with the Islanders and most like the Tavares line. For as good as the Tavares line is offensively they are really bad defensively, especially on the road. I would look for the cats to take advantage of this tonight without a doubt. If you want to make this a full stack I would use either Keith Yandle or Aaron Ekblad on the blue line.

Value Line

Islanders 2

Basically on the flip side of this game I really love the second line of Mathew Barzal – Jordan Eberle – Andrew Ladd tonight against the depth of the Panthers. While they will see Vinny Trocheck most likely he has been paired with different line mates a lot since Dadonov went out and the result has been really poor from a defensive standpoint. Not only that Mathew Barzal boasts impressive numbers 5v5 and that should change tonight. They are getting a tad pricey for a secondary line but if you use the full line Ladd is very cheap and provides salary relief. On the blue line I would probably use Johnny Boychuk with this line.

Fade Of The Night

Nashville

With Ryan Johansen most likely out, the Preds have split up Viktor Arvidsson and Filip Forsberg making the top unit Craig Smith – Kyle Turris – Kevin Fiala. On most nights I would really like this line, however they will most likely be matched up with Boston’s top line and Patrice Bergeron. Bergeron is one of the NHLs elite two way centers and I usually don’t like stacking against them, even though Nashville is home. For that reason Nashville will be my fade of the night.
