DFS Lines to Target: 02/21/20

There are seven games on the slate for this Friday evening in the NHL. I’ve highlighted my top high-priced and value stacks to help you out. Good luck!

High-Priced

Colorado 1 –  Gabriel Landeskog ($6,600), Nathan MacKinnon ($8,600), Andre Burakovsky ($5,600)

Even with Mikko Rantanen injured, Colorado’s top line has plenty of upside in their matchup with Anaheim tonight. This Avalanche line owns a 56.86 CF% in a small sample size and will be matched up against Anaheim’s fourth line of Nicolas Deslauriers, Derek Grant and Carter Rowney, which owns a 43.05 CF%. The Ducks comes into this game struggling defensively, as they’ve allowed at least four goals in three of their last four contests.

MacKinnon continues to be a machine, putting up multi-point outings in four of his last five games, while Landeskog has a goal and two assists in his last two games. Burakovsky is having a fantastic season, and that’s continued with the promotion to the top line, scoring three times in his last four games to hit the 20-goal mark for the first time in his NHL career. Each player in this stack also plays on Colorado’s lethal first power-play unit that will have a great chance at converting tonight against an Anaheim PK operating at just 78 percent efficiency.

Value Stack

New York Islanders 1 – Anders Lee ($5,700), Mathew Barzal ($6,000),  Jordan Eberle ($5,100)

New York’s top line comes in at a good cost tonight in their matchup with Detroit. They’ve been slumping over the last four games and will have a great chance to get back on track against one of the worst defensive teams in the NHL. This Isles trio owns a solid 53.64 CF% and an ever more impressive 57.22 HDCF%, and will be matched up against the Bertuzzi, Athanasiou and Filppula line, which owns an underwhelming 44.91 CF% and 39.13 HDCF%.

The struggling Red Wings have allowed 16 goals in their last four games and are also getting exposed on the penalty kill with four power-play goals allowed in that span. That’s where NYI 1 really earns their value tonight, as all three players are members of New York’s top unit. Eberle and Lee both surpassed the 30-point mark recently, while Barzal is sitting on 18 goals and 49 points through 59 games. This line’s ability to generate high-quality chances should lead to some solid production in all situations against Detroit tonight.
