To help you build the ideal one-day lineup here are my top centres, wingers, defensemen, goalies and value picks for the March 28th games.

CENTRES

DEREK STEPAN – @ PIT ($5,700)

After Game 1, it didn’t look like the Penguins stood a chance in this series, but they were able to knot it up in Game 2. Despite the loss, Stepan had one goal and one assist and now has nine shots on goal in the first two games. I expect a huge game from the Rangers tonight, so look no further than Stepan.

DERICK BRASSARD – @ PIT ($4,900)

Brassard has a goal in each of the first two games of this series and has a three-game goal scoring streak dating back to the season finale. With a big game from the Rangers forthcoming (I think) look for Brassard to continue his hot start to the postseason.

BRYAN LITTLE – vs. ANA ($4,400)

Little has been held off of the scoresheet in the first two games of the series, but with the series shifting over to Winnipeg, look for the Jets to come out flying. Little was one of their best forwards all season and at $4,400 he makes for a nice option.

Value Picks: Jori Lehtera – @ MIN ($3,600) / Andrew Cogliano – @ WPG ($3,200)

WINGERS

RICK NASH – @ PIT ($8,800)

Nash has historically struggled in the playoffs has started this postseason right on pace with how he has played all season long. He has three points (1G / 2A) in the first two games of the series. It has been a great start for Nash, who will try to lead the Rangers to a 2-1 series lead tonight.

VLADIMIR TARASENKO – @ MIN ($8,400)

Tarasenko is coming off of an impressive hat trick in Game 2, so it is tough to stay away from him tonight. He has been unreal all season and if the Blues are going to steal Game 3 in Minnesota, he will need to be on top of his game again.

ANDREW LADD – vs. ANA ($5,300)

I picked the Jets to upset the Ducks in this series and they were right there in Games 1 and 2, so I think as the series shifts to Winnipeg, they should be able to take Game 3 tonight. Ladd doesn’t have any points yet, but he plays a ton and has five shots on goal through two games.

Value Picks: Chris Kreider – @ PIT ($4,000) / Patrick Maroon – @ WPG ($3,300)

DEFENSEMEN

KEVIN SHATTENKIRK – @ MIN ($7,000)

Shattenkirk was having himself a ridiculous season until he got injured, but now the playoffs is a whole new season and he is playing great again. He leads the playoffs with four assists, having posted two assists in each of the first two games.

SAMI VATANEN – @ WPG ($5,600)

Vatanen was held off of the scoresheet in Game 2, but had three points in Game 1. He is the Ducks best option on the blue line and he will need to be great again for the Ducks to weather the “White Out” storm in Winnipeg tonight.

Value Picks: Dan Boyle – @ PIT ($3,800) / Matt Dumba vs. STL ($3,100)

GOALIES

HENRIK LUNDQVIST – @ PIT ($9,200)

Lundqivst was not great in Game 2, giving up four goals on 22 shots, but this is the Rangers series to lose and they should take control back tonight. Lundqvist is the best goalie in action tonight and has the best chance of winning in my opinion.

JAKE ALLEN – @ MIN ($8,500)

Allen stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Blues 4-1 win in Game 2. He has played very well in the first two games, having stopped 49 of 52 shots (.942 SV%). The series heads to Minnesota where thinks might get a little more difficult, but it looks like the Blues figured out a way to beat Devan Dubnyk in game 2. If that continues tonight, Allen should be victorious.
