To help you build the ideal one-day lineup here are my top centres, wingers, defensemen, goalies and value picks for the April 3rd games.

CENTRES

LOGAN COUTURE – VS. ARI ($8,700)

Couture has registered three goals, three assists (6 points) and 18 shots on goal in his last four games. He has been red-hot as of late and draws a matchup that he has taken advantage of this season—Couture has registered four assists in three games against the Coyotes this season.

RYAN GETZLAF – VS. COL ($8,000)

Getzlaf has been held off of the board in the last three games, but had a decent nine points (5G / 4A) in March. This play is much more about the matchup than his recent output. Reto Berra gets the call against the Ducks and Getzlaf already has two assists in two games against Colorado this season.

JONATHAN TOEWS – @ BUF ($6,200)

When there is a team as good as Chicago taking on the Sabres, it is impossible to ignore players like Toews.  He has five goals and five assists (10 points) in his last 10 contests. In their first meeting, Toews collected two assists vs. Buffalo.

TOMAS PLEKANEC – @ NJD ($5,700)

Plekanec has three goals and six assists in his last 10 games and is currently playing on the top-line with Max Pacioretty. In his first two games against the Devils (and Kinkaid), Plekanec has registered three goals.

CHRIS TIERNEY – VS. SJ ($3,500)

Tierney has been hot as of late, posting three goals and three assists in his last seven games. He has played very well, but it is worth noting that he has just four shots in his last five contests.

WINGERS

COREY PERRY – VS. COL ($7,800)

Perry has five goals and one assist in his last seven games—he has also registered 25 shots over that same span. In their first two games against Colorado, Perry has two goals, plus Reto Berra gets the nod tonight.

MARIAN HOSSA – @ BUF ($6,800)

Hossa comes in with a three-game point streak intact, registering one goal and three assists over that stretch. It is a glorious matchup and he is worth pairing him with Toews.

PATRICK MARLEAU – VS. ARI ($6,600)

Marleau has three goals and three assists in his last five games, but he has surprisingly been held off of the scoresheet in the first three games against the Coyotes. I’m betting on the fact that he won’t be held off of the scoresheet for four straight games.

RYAN O’REILLY – @ ANA ($5,900)

The Avalanche do not have a great matchup, but there is no one as hot as O’Reilly right now. He comes in with 13 points (5G / 8A) in his last nine games, so he is worth taking a chance on again tonight.

PATRICK EAVES – VS. STL ($4,100)

Eaves has three goals and three assists in his last six games and is expected to skate on a line with Jason Spezza and Ales Hemsky tonight. He likes to fire the puck and possess a heavy, so he is a solid option at $4,100.

DEFENSEMEN

P.K SUBBAN – @ NJ ($7,000)

Subban has picked up a ridiculous six assists in two games against the Devils this season. That is pretty outrageous if you ask me. He enters play with a three game point-streak—the blue liner has two goals, three assists and 12 shots on goal over that span.

CAM FOWLER – VS. COL ($4,000)

After being a healthy scratch, Fowler has three assists and six shots in four games. He has a goal against the Avalanche this season and with Berra in goal, Fowler makes a nice option on D.

RASMUS RISTOLAINEN – VS. CHI ($3,900)

Ristolainen missed Wednesday’s game, but will be back in tonight. He has a three-game goal scoring streak (one goal in each) and added one assist as well. It is hard to suggest taking Sabres players, but this young blue liner brings a lot of offence.

GOALIES

ANTTI NIEMI – VS. ARI ($8,600) – CONFIRMED

Niemi will be well-rested with Alex Stalock starting the last three games. Niemi has gone 2-0-1 with a 2.28 GAA and .922 SV% in his first three starts against the Coyotes this season.

SCOTT DARLING – @ BUF ($8,100) – LIKELY

Darling is coming off of a 31 save performance on Monday and has stopped 69 of the last 70 shots (.986 SV%) that he has faced. Plus, he has the Sabres, so yeah, that is a pretty good matchup.

DUSTIN TOKARSKI – @ NJD ($6,700) – CONFIRMED

Tokarski really has not been very good this season. He has gone 1-3-2 with a 3.30 GAA and .901 SV% in his last six outings, but he is cheap and has a matchup worth gambling on. Keith Kinkaid has struggled in his first two starts vs. Montreal, so the goal-support should certainly be there for Tokarski.
