There are only three games tonight, but that is not going to stop us from playing one-day Fantasy Hockey at DraftKings!

Tonight’s contest comes with a $3 entry fee and a $10,000 prize pool. The top 780 finishers will be paid out with first place taking home $800. Join HERE and good luck to everyone!

DraftKings lineups are made up of eight skaters and one goalie. Each player is allotted a salary based off of performance and you have $50,000 to build the best team possible that consists of 2C, 3W, 2D, 1UTIL and 1G.

Players will accumulate points as follows:

Goal = +3 pts

Assist = +2 pts

Shot on goal = +0.5 pts

Blocked Shot = +0.5 pts

Short Handed Point = +1 pts

Shootout Goal = +0.2 pts

Hat Trick Bonus = +1.5 pts

Goalies will accumulate points as follows:

Win = +3 pts

(Goalies WILL also receive skater points, if they score a goal or record an assist)

To help you build the ideal one-day lineup here are my top centres, wingers, defensemen, goalies and value picks for the March 7th games.

NOTE: All notes about Reto Berra starting are off. Semyon Varlamov will start again, but they remain valuable with Varlamov posting a 1-4-0 record with a 3.68 GAA and .890 SV% in the second game of back-to-backs.

CENTRES

STEVEN STAMKOS – VS. DET ($9,000)

Stamkos has 10 points (7G / 3A) in his last nine games and comes in with three goals in two games against the Red Wings this season. Jimmy Howard has struggled and the Wings are in the second game of a back-to-back.

RYAN GETZLAF – VS. COL ($8,700)

Getzlaf has three goals, one assist and 14 shots in his last four games and there is a good chance that Reto Berra starts for the Avalanche, making any Anaheim Duck a good option tonight.

TYLER ENNIS – VS. NJD ($5,200)

Before you laugh at the thought of taking a Sabres forward, Ennis has three goals and two assists in his last six games and Keith Kinkaid starts for the Devils, so you could do worse.

ADAM HENRIQUE – @ BUF ($5,200)

This game could be 2-1 for all I know, but it could just as easily be 5-4. I’m hoping for the latter when drafting Henrique, who has four goals and two assists in his last six games.

RILEY SHEAHAN – @ TBL ($3,900)

Sheahan has two goals and three assists in his last five games and he will be playing with Darren Helm and Tomas Tatar in the Red Wings top-6 for a second straight game with Pavel Datsyuk sidelined with a lower-body injury.

WINGERS

COREY PERRY – VS. COL ($7,400)

Like I mentioned, Reto Berra=Play your Ducks. Perry has been surprisingly quiet as of late, but that is why a $7,400 price tag is well worth the risk, especially if Berra goes. Perry is two shy of 30 goals, maybe he’ll get there tonight!

RYAN CALLAHAN – VS. DET ($5,600)

Playing with Stamkos always makes Callahan a strong one-day option. He has four goals and three assists in his last 11 games and has picked up an assist in each of the first two games against the Red Wings.

RYAN O’REILLY – @ ANA ($5,100)

O’Reilly has been as hot as anyone in hockey in the last month. He has two goals and 10 assists (12 points) in 13 games over the last 30 days. It is not the greatest matchup, but the Ducks have given up 3.00 goals per game in their last six.

JAKOB SILFVERBERG – VS. COL ($4,700)

Silfverberg has eight points (3G / 5A) in nine games in March and hey… Reto Berra
