Below I’ve listed my top DFS plays at each position as well as a few sample DraftKings lineup for tonight.

CENTRES

TYLER SEGUIN – vs. PHI – $8,800

He has arguably the best last name in the NHL and is usually a staple in my DraftKings lineup. He picked up 9.5 DraftKings points on Tuesday with a one-goal, three-assist performance and tonight the Stars have another nice home matchup with the Flyers in town. The Benn-Seguin-Nichushkin line is clicking right now and should be in your lineup if you’re blood is rich enough.

RYAN GETZLAF – vs. CAR – $6,200

One goal in 24 games is certainly not what you would expect from Getzlaf and his 17 assists is skewed by a five assist game. So when you take that game out, one goal and 12 assists in 23 games really isn’t great. But, that is why he is a great option tonight, because his slow play has him sitting at $6,200, which is fantastic for a play with Getzlaf’s track record. With the Hurricanes in town, my eyes are lightning up.

MIKAEL GRANLUND – @ ARI – $4,500

Granlund’s floor is usually pretty low because he usually doesn’t shoot or score very much. However, recently there has been a spike in his shot volume, picking up 16 shots (4 S/PG) in his last four contests. Over that span he has also picked up four assists and has one goal and seven assists in his last eight games. The matchup is a juicy one and $4,500 is a perfect price for Grandlund.

Value Options: Oscar Lindberg – @ EDM – $4,000 / Rickard Rakell – vs. CAR – $3,700

WINGERS

JAMIE BENN – vs. PHI – $8,400

Like Seguin, Benn had one goal and three assists in Tuesday’s win over Carolina. Stacking the Stars’ top line is expensive, but worthwhile. The matchup is fantastic, so we can expect another strong outing from Benn.

COREY PERRY – vs. CAR – $6,800

Perry has been better than Getzlaf, scoring 10 goals with nine assists (19 points) in 28 games this season. Perry has three goals in his last four games, scoring 5, 5.5, 2.5 and 4.5 DraftKings points over that span.

JASON POMINVILLE – @ ARI – $5,200

Pominville is playing better than Parise and is the cheaper option. Pominville has three goals and one assist in his last five games. He has averaged 4.6 fantasy points per game over that stretch. Pominville and Granlund make for a cheap stack with an appealing matchup.

Value Options: Valeri Nichushkin – vs. PHI – $3,500 / Beau Bennett – @ PIT – $3,000

DEFENSEMEN

JOHN KLINGBERG – vs. PHI – $6,000

Klingberg is the third most expensive D option but he is with the money. He has three assists on Tuesday and has 30 points (5G / 25A) in 28 games. If you don’t want to pay for Seguin or Benn, Klingberg makes for a nice alternative.

DUNCAN KEITH – vs. WPG – $5,400

Keith has two goals and seven assists in his last eight games, making him one of the top scoring defensemen right now. He is an elite option with a reasonable price and a great matchup against  Winnipeg team on a back-to-back.

OLLI MAATTA – vs. LA – $3,200

Since returning from injury Maatta has two goals and two assists  in three games and with Kris Letang out again, Maatta will be the go-to-guy on the Penguins blueline. His low price tag makes him a low-risk, high-reward play.

Value Options: Marco Scandella – @ ARI – $3,400 / David Warsofsky – vs. LA – $2,600

GOALIES

JIMMY HOWARD – @ NJ – $7,400

Howard is coming off of a tough loss to the Capitals on Tuesday, but draws a strong matchup in New Jersey. The Devils have been impressive this season, but they are coming off of a loss in Toronto, show they still aren’t great. Howard has an impressive 2.25 GAA and .921 SV% on the year and is 4-0-1 in his last five.

ANTTI NIEMI – vs. PHI – $6,900

Niemi has lost each of his last two starts, but overall has been pretty good this season. Niemi draws a strong matchup against a Flyers team that has struggled to score this season.

JOHN GIBSON – vs. CAR – $6,500

Gibson has a 1.47 GAA and .944 SV% in six starts and one relief appearance since being called up. He has forced the Ducks to keep playing him and he will be a high-volume play tonight due to his low price and great matchup. If you want to go off the board, don’t take Gibson, but if you want the best value, it is Gibson.
