Sportnet’s John Shannon confirms that Drew Doughty will miss tonight’s contest between the Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes.  He did not travel with the team to Arizona, but expects to rejoin them at some point during their five game road trip.

Doughty is listed as day-to-day after exiting last night’s game with an upper-body injury.  Doughty received a hit from Carolina Hurricanes forward Erik Cole during the second period and would not return to the game.
