Dustin Byfuglien left last night’s game during the first period after blocking a shot in the Atlanta Thrashers’ 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers.  For the time being the Thrashers’ offensive defenseman has been listed as day-to-day with a lower body injury.

Through his first 19 games as a Thrasher, Byfuglien has failed to disappoint with five goals and 16 points on the year– tied for fourth amongst defenseman.
