Erik Cole Out 4-6 Weeks

Carolina Hurricanes forward Erik Cole will miss four to six weeks after fracturing a bone in his left leg. Cole was hit at the blueline, Saturday night, by Bruins defenceman Dennis Wideman.  The two players’ legs made contact during the hit and Cole got the worst of it. Tim Conboy will go into the lineup for Tuesday’s game against Tampa Bay. The Canes practiced Sunday with Conboy on a line with Stephane Yelle and Tom Kostopoulos. Scott Walker was moved up to play on Rod Brind’Amour’s line with Jussi Jokinen. Tuomo Ruutu will move up to play alongside Eric Staal.
