Gagne to miss second straight game for Lightning

Simon Gagne will miss his second straight game tonight as the Tampa Bay Lightning host the Nashville Predators.  The veteran forward was recently held out of the lineup both due to illness and a stiff neck.

So far, Gagne has yet to post his first point as a Lightning with an awful -8 over six games.

Is he this season’s Alex Tanguay or just off to an incredibly slow start?  Gagne will need to decide the answer but for now it appears that he will not stay healthy this season, like most over his career.
