Carrier will be the odd-man out up front for Vegas as Keegan Kolesar is set to return from an undisclosed injury. Carrier has five goals and two assists in 31 games this season.

Kolesar will return to the lineup after missing the Golden Knights' previous two games due to an undisclosed injury. He has two goals and three assists in 32 games this season.


McMichael will return to face the Lightning on Saturday after missing the last two games with an illness. He is expected to reclaim his role as Washington's second-line centre. McMichael has six goals and seven assists in 28 games this season.

Phillips be the odd-man out for Saturday's game against the Lightning as Connor McMichael (illness) is set to return to the lineup. Phillips has one goal and four assists in 22 games this season.


Zegras has not played since November 7th but will return to the lineup for the Ducks in their game against the Kraken on Saturday. Zegras struggled to start the season but was presumably playing through his current injury, scoring only two points (1G / 1A) in 12 games. We can expect Zegras to immediately return to Anaheim's first line and power-play unit.

Cogliano hasn't played since December 17th, missing Colorado's last two games due to the undisclosed injury. He has three goals and six assists in 27 games this season.






The move to IR opens up a roster spot for Damon Severson to be activated for Saturday's game. Blankenburg is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Olli Maatta picked up a knock in Friday's win over the Flyers, so Edvinsson will likely make his season debut on Saturday. The 2021 No.6 overall pick has been great in the AHL this season, leading all Griffins defensemen with 16 points (6G / 10A) in 25 games. Edvinsson had two goals in nine games with the Red Wings a season ago.

The emergency recall of Mitchell suggests that a Bruins' defenseman picked up an injury during Friday's loss in Winnipeg. With the back-to-back, don't expect the Bruins to reveal who is ailing until around 5:00 PM ET.

Sergachev remains day-to-day and is expected to play shortly after the Christmas break. Haydn Fleury will remain in the Lightning lineup Saturday in Washington and Darren Raddysh will continue to operate the Lightning No.2 PP unit.


Bean is expected to be the odd-man out on Columbus' blue-line on Saturday with Damon Severson set to return from an oblique injury. Bean has one goal and two assists in 32 games this season.
