Kevin Labanc (upper body) will draw back into the Sharks' lineup Saturday vs. Vancouver.

Labanc missed the Sharks' last two games due to an upper-body injury but will draw back into the lineup Saturday vs. Vancouver in place of Filip Zadina (upper body). The 27-year-old right-winger has struggled out of the gate this season, with no goals, two assists, 18 SOG, six PIMs and a -8 plus/minus through 13 games prior to his injury.

Kevin Labanc
Jake Allen will start Saturday in Los Angeles.

Its been three games since Allen took the crease vs. Boston but he will look to snap a personal four-game losing streak Saturday as he takes on Los Angeles on the road. The 33-year-old has hovered around his career averages all season with his 3-4-1 record, 3.54 GAA and .907 SV%. He will take on the red hot Los Angeles Kings on the road who have won four straight and are second in the NHL in goals (4.0) and seventh in shots per game (32.2).

Jake Allen
Filip Zadina (upper body) will be out Saturday vs. Vancouver and is considered day-to-day.

Zadina left the Sharks' previous game vs. Montreal after just five shifts and 4:14 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will be out Saturday vs. Vancouver. The 23-year-old right-winger opted to head to San Jose in the offseason and has three goals, two assists, 30 SOG, six PIMs and a -19 plus/minus through 20 games so far in 2023-24. Kevin Labanc (upper body) will draw back into the Sharks' lineup and take Zadina's place.

Filip Zadina
Kaapo Kahkonen will start Saturday vs. Vancouver.

San Jose will continue to shuffle their goals as Kaapo Kahkonen makes his third start in five games Saturday vs. Vancouver. It has been yet another horrendous season in San Jose for the 27-year-old, who is 1-6-0 with a 4.30 GAA and .887 SV%. He takes on the offensive juggernauts that are the Vancouver Canucks, who have won two of their last three games and lead the NHL in goals per game (4.05).

Kaapo Kahkonen
Fleury (illness) missed practice on Saturday and is questionable to travel to Detroit for Sunday's game.

The Wild already announced that Filip Gustavsson will start Sunday in Detroit, so the Wild may need to call-up a backup if Fleury is not available. The 38-year-old has endured a horrific start to his 2023-24 season, with his 3-4-2 record, 3.46 GAA and .875 SV%.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Perry will remain away from the team for the "foreseeable future."

The Blackhawks have yet to say why Perry isn't with the team but that it was a team decision, not Perry's decision. The 38-year-old signed a one-year, $4 million contract in the offseason and had been enjoying a decent start to the season with four goals, five assists, 26 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus in 16 games played.

Corey Perry
Matt Martin (upper body) has been placed on the injured reserve.

Martin has missed the Islanders' previous four games due to an upper-body injury and was placed on the injured reserve Saturday. The 34-year-old bruising winger had been enjoying a slow start to his 2023-24 season, with a goal, as assist, 11 SOG, and seven PIMs in 14 games played prior to the injury.

Matt Martin
Ullmark led the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

The carousel of goaltender starts continues in Boston as Ullmark takes the crease back after backing up for Boston's 5-2 loss to Detroit Friday. The 30-year-old Vezina Trophy Winner is looking to duplicate last years honour with his impressive 7-1-1 record, 2.10 GAA and .932 SV%. He draws the tough task of the New York Rangers, who have won 12 of their last 14 games and are 15th in the NHL in goals per game (3.22).

Linus Ullmark
Lyon will start Sunday vs. the Wild.

Lyon will draw his third start in four games Sunday as he takes the crease vs. the Minnesota Wild. The 30-year-old netminder signed a two-year contract in the offseason with the Red Wings and has a 1-1-0 record, 1.53 GAA and .933 SV%. He will face the struggling Minnesota Wild, who have dropped six-straight games and are 19th in the NHL in goals per game (3.06).

Alex Lyon
Walman (illness) is not expected to play Sunday vs. the Wild.

Walman had just returned for a full game after leaving early from the Global Series in Sweden but will now be forced to miss Sunday due to illness. The 27-year-old defencement has enjoyed an incredibly strong start to his 2023-24 season on Detroit's top pair, with four goals, four assists, 34 SOG, 18 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 18 games played.

Jake Walman
Declan Chisholm has been recalled from Manitoba (AHL).

Chisholm has been enjoying a strong start in Manitoba (AHL) with five assists and six PIMs in six games played so far in 2023-24 and has been recalled to Winnipeg for the first time this season. The 23-year-old defender returns to the NHL where he made his one and only appearance in 2021-22 with two games and no points.

Declan Chisholm
Gustavsson will start Sunday in Detroit.

It was announced the Marc-Andre Fleury (illnesss) would be out Sunday so Filip Gustavsson takes the crease for the second-straight start Sunday in Detroit. The 25-year-old broke out in 2022-23 but has struggled mightily this season with his glaring 2-5-2 record, 4.03 GAA and .882 SV%. He will play the surging Detroit Red Wings, who have won two straight games and are impressively sixth in the NHL in goals per game (3.68).

Filip Gustavsson
The Islanders have placed Adam Pelech (upper-body) on LTIR.

Pelech suffered an upper-body injury on Friday and was placed on LTIR on Saturday. The move means that Pelech will miss 10 games/24 days and opens up $5.75M in cap-space for them to make some call-ups to replace Pelech and maybe Sebastian Aho, who was also injured on Friday.

Adam Pelech
The Bruins have assigned Mason Lohrei to Providence (AHL).

Lohrei played very well in his first taste of the NHL, recording four points (1G / 3A), 17 SOG and a minus-3 rating in 10 games. He gets sent to the AHL along with Patrick Brown in order to make room for Matt Grzelcyk to be activated from LTIR ahead of Saturday's game.

Mason Lohrei
The Bruins have activated Matt Grzelcyk (upper-body) from LTIR.

Grzelcyk missed the minimum of 10 games on LTIR and is expected to play Saturday in New York. Grzelcyk will replace Mason Lohrei, who was sent back to Providence (AHL) in a corresponding transaction. Grzelcyk had one goal on 12 SOG in nine games before getting hurt.

Matt Grzelcyk
Quick will start Saturday vs. the Bruins.

Quick stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Rangers' shutout victory over the Penguins on Wednesday. Quick has been absolutely outstanding in his first six games with the Rangers, leading the NHL in GAA (1.68) and SV% (.940). The veteran netminder has turned back the clock so far and will get another chance Saturday vs. the Bruins. The Rangers are +106 home underdogs.
